The approach
I design gardens that feed people, shelter wildlife and build living soil. Each one is shaped by close observation of the land, and grounded in years of growing at places like River Cottage.
Every site has its own soil, water, light and history. Reading those patterns first means the finished garden needs less watering, less feeding and less fighting, and gives more back each year.

Conversation & visit
We walk the garden together and talk about how you want to use it and what matters to you.
Survey & site reading
Soil, sunlight, drainage and existing features are assessed, with measured surveys and drone mapping where useful.
Design & planting plans
A tailored design with detailed drawings and planting plans, chosen for your conditions and for wildlife.
Create & aftercare
Hands-on landscaping and planting using sustainable materials, with follow-up visits as the garden establishes.
